Multi Engine Rating

Multi-engine rating is a certification that authorises pilots to serve as the pilot-in-command (PIC) of a multi-engine aircraft. Our training utilises the BE76 Duchess.
For those obtaining their first multi-engine rating, a minimum training requirement of five hours is mandated.
The Multi Engine Rating consists of five lessons.
• Introduction to multi flying and the systems of the aircraft.
• Introduction to asymmetric flying.
• Engine failure in the cruise.
• Asymmetric circuits.
• Engine failure in the circuit.
